WHAT YOU'LL DO:

We are looking for hardworking individuals with a positive attitude for the Retail Store Associate position at the flagship GOAT USA store in the Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden City, NY.

Job Purpose

As the GOAT USA Retail Store Associate, you will be tasked with providing outstanding customer service that will continue to build customer loyalty. Your focus will be on selling the entire GOAT USA line, which includes sweatshirts, t-shirts, long sleeves, joggers, shorts, accessories, and more. You will be responsible for welcoming all customers and introducing them to the brand while maintaining floor appearance, directing customers to merchandise, operating cash registers, and assisting with any questions, concerns, or issues a customer might have.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise when needed.
• POS and payment handling.
• Work in collaboration with other sales associates and managerial staff for a cohesive execution of the job.
• Maintain brand and inventory knowledge.
• Greet customers.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store appearance.
• Follow and uphold store policies.
• Fulfill any online orders from the store.
• Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
• Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong communication, leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Capable of lifting or moving heavy products up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
