This Customer Review Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all customer reviews (each a “Review”) left for GOAT USA Products on the GOAT USA website.
By writing a Review, you agree to follow the rules of this Policy, which GOAT USA reserves the right to update as it may deem necessary at any time.
All Customer Reviews are subject to the approval of GOAT USA. GOAT USA reserves the right to take down, or not approve, any Review that we believe violates this Policy.
Only GOAT USA customers that have purchased the product they wish to review (the “Reviewer”) can leave a Review on the product. To review a product, you must be at least 13 years of age or older and have a valid order number that corresponds to the product being reviewed.
GOAT USA encourages Reviewers to honestly review the product(s) they have purchased. Reviewers may also talk about their individual experience wearing or using the product, or share what they liked and/or disliked about the product.
All reviews must be posted in English.
Prohibited Content
The following content is expressly prohibited from any Review of any GOAT USA product:
• Content that is wholly unrelated to the product being reviewed.
• Private information of any company or individual, including, but not limited to, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses or order numbers.
• Profanity, cursing, vulgar language or other generally offensive language, including symbols, abbreviations or intentional misspelling intended to convey such language.
• Libel or slander, or harassing language.
• Hateful language that is targeted towards any race, religion, creed, nationality, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected class.
• Language or imagery of a sexual nature.
• Links or references to any third party, or any other website or email.
• Advertisements for other products, including promotional advertisements for one’s own products, or products sold by a Reviewer’s friends, family, employers, or by competitors of GOAT USA.
• Reviews made by a Reviewer who has a conflict of interest in leaving an honest review, including Reviews made by competitors of, or those who have a personal interest in the competitors of, GOAT USA.
• False or fraudulent reviews.
• Calls for violence or threats.
• Advocacy for the misuse of a product.
• Repetitive text, spam, or pictures created with symbols.
• Content that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrighted text, images or trademarks used without authorization.
Ownership and Use of Reviews
By submitting a Review, the Reviewer grants GOAT USA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully transferable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, display and distribute the Review, in whole or in part, in any and all media and advertising channels now known or hereinafter devised, including, but not limited to, the Reviewer’s name, photographs and any other information shared as part of the Review, in any media or format now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose, including marketing and promotional purposes. The Reviewer represents and warrants that they own or have all necessary rights to the content of their Review and that the Review does not violate the rights of any third party.
Consequences for Violations of this Policy
If a posted review violates any portion of this Policy, GOAT USA may, in its sole discretion and for any reason, remove the Review, or edit, redact or modify the Review to remove content that violates this Policy. GOAT USA is not obligated to notify a Reviewer before editing, redacting or removing a Review. In the event a Reviewer has violated this Policy more than once, then they may be barred from posting future Reviews.
Reporting Violations
If you believe that a Review on a product violates any of these rules, please email team@goatusa.com and identify the product that the Review was left on and share a screenshot of the review. GOAT USA will monitor identified Reviews to determine if they need to be taken down, and all such determinations will be made in the sole discretion of GOAT USA.
