Job Purpose
The Social Media Intern will support the marketing team in creating, curating, and managing engaging content across various social media platforms. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in social media marketing, social media strategy- community engagement. The intern will assist with content creation, trend monitoring, and performance tracking, contributing to the growth of our online presence and brand awareness. By actively participating in social media campaigns and daily operations, the Social Media Intern will play a key role in helping the company strengthen its connection with current and potential audiences.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media campaigns.
- Conduct social media analysis of current social media trends and insights to inform social media marketing strategies.
- Support the development, strategy, and management of social media accounts.
- Oversee engagement and community management on all social media accounts.
- Update social media calendar weekly.
- Create onsite content for GOAT USA’s social media accounts (e.g. Instagram, Tik-Tok, etc.)
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities and events for social media.
- Ability to create content on Adobe Creative Cloud
- Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.
Additional Information:
- Part-time internship
- 15-20 hours a week.
- Location: Plainview, NY
